Tesla battery worth its weight
The sceptics and deniers said it would never work, but South Australia's massive Tesla battery is already making an impact on the state's energy supply network.
In fact, data released this week by the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) shows that it can not only dispatch power more rapidly and precisely than conventional thermal power stations, but does it faster and more accurately than previously thought possible — while also pushing down prices.
